This is my favorite quote from #2: It is a developer advocate’s job to empower developers so they realize that a project is so good that they themselves will go out and advocate for it.

In sales parlance, I equate this to “word of mouth” where your best “salespeople” are those who use your product/service and vouch on your behalf.
